What makes me most happy is freedom. Having a job that allows me to be creative is great. Most freelancing gigs involve getting into someone else mind and creating their dream.

I enjoy that but If I could do whatever I wanted for the rest of my life, it would be painting. I like having the freedom to create whats on my heart. I like the process of it all. It’s like therapy. When I finish a painting I immediately start thinking about starting another.

This one means a lot to me. I painted this because I know that this world and everything in it will eventually let me down. Its inevitable. I’m not in control the way I thought I was when I was younger. Things happen. People change. Life changes. This can be soul crushing.

I’ve learned that my peace and my coolness come from a higher power. When I’m tapped in to Source and not overly focused on this crazy world I produce my best work. It feels like real freedom. I painted this to remind myself to stop and appreciate the little things. Sometimes I need to stop and smell the roses. I hope you like it.
